  • Dr. Burley is a medical practitioner who was educated in the UK and Australia and currently specializes in the area of child and adolescent mental health.

Michael Street is an investment banker by background and has been an international consultant to:

  • the design and engineering arm of the Australian Government;
  • the merchant bank Hambros;
  • the accounting firm Ernst & Young;
  • the legal firm Freehills.

Michael acted as Chairman of a Global committee for banking, legal and insurance, which negotiated over a two year period a detailed electricity sales agreement for a substantial BOT power station in the Middle East, together with the relevant concession documents.

Michael has had 25 years experience in corporate advice and project finance, including 10 years of executive director level at N.M. Rothschild and Kleinwort Benson.

Michael has both Bachelor of Laws and Commerce degrees from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Laws from Monash University, specialising in International Law.

He is a fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia.

He has presented a number of papers on infrastructure matters.

Michael Street is a director of A2ZProfiles Limited.

Phan Thi Kim Luyen has been in the field of Media Advertising for over 7 years and have held several positions in various media companies:

  • Production Manager at Shu's Saigon - a Japanese Production House
  • Account Supervisor at Dentsu, Vietnam where she managed Canon's below the line and above the line advertising activities in the Vietnam market including organising and conducting regional campaigns for Canon.
  • Account Manager at Activate Marketing Services, Vietnam where she managed Yahoo’s above the line activities including event management, road shows, and general market penetration activities in Vietnam including organising and managing Yahoo's relationship building events with local media. At Activate she also managed 3 of Canon's biggest product launches in Vietnam in 2008 for Canon's consumer products.

Phan Thi Kim Luyen has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Ho Chi Minh University of Foreign Languages, Information & Technology

She is also proficient in the following languages: Japanese, English & Vietnamese (both written and oral)

VICTOR EDMOND McCLUSKEY

 

Victor Edmond McCluskey is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has worked in South East Asia for 20 years in both expanding and contracting times, gaining considerable experience in concluding transactions and engagements. In more than 10 years as a partner, worked closely in many industries from manufacturing and mining to retail and construction. Aware of and has helped resolve many of the finance, accounting and administrative issues that confront all business enterprises. Has worked with large multi-national organisations to small privately owned businesses as well as having significant administrative responsibilities. Technical expertise lies in a proven ability to successfully manage large and complex transactions, to meet deadlines and to be an effective leader of a large group of individuals. His exytensive professional experience include the following postings:

Special Executive Officer – Investment July 2009 to present 

Appointed Chief Investment Officer for Ranhill Group. Responsible for reviewing all new and existing investments investment proposals and making recommendations to Investment Committee of the Board.

Victor was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Ranhill Berhad, a Kuala Lumpur listed company with interests as owners, developers, engineers and constructors of assets in the energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors. The Ranhill group is Malaysia’s preeminent engineering and construction firm as well as the “source to tap” water utility operator in Johor and the owner & operator of an expanding electricity generating assets in Sabah.

Focus has been in fundraising & in leading due diligence reviews on green & brown field investment opportunities. Successfully completed Malaysia’s first high yield $US bond in October 2006, raising $US 220. Other priorities have been quarterly & annual reporting, cash flow management & expense control.

  • Supersoils 2002 to 2004
    Co Founder, Executive Director, Shareholder and Chief Financial Officer of Supersoils Sdn. Bhd., a company established to utilize palm oil processing waste and other materials to produce a complete growing medium (soil replacement) suitable for all types of plants. Focus has been on optimizing the technology, completion of plant design, commissioning of pilot plant and securing funding to construct large manufacturing plants in Malaysia. Involvement in this project continues on a part time basis.

    After leaving KPMG at the end of 1992, accepted position in Kuala Lumpur as Chief Financial Officer of Tanjong plc, a London and Kuala Lumpur listed associate of Usaha Tegas Sdn. Bhd. (“UTSB”), the major Malaysian investment vehicle for interests of Mr. Ananda Krishnan. These investments include or included at the time, substantial shareholdings in Maxis, a company offering a full range of telecommunications services, Astro, a direct to user satellite broadcasting company, Tanjong, operator of privatised horse racing totalisator business and a fixed odds lottery business in Malaysia, KLCC the developer of the then single largest real estate project in the world including the then world’s tallest buildings, Binariang Satellite Systems, the then owner and operator of two MEASAT satellites and Powertek, an independent power producer.

    The initial focus of work with the Group was Tanjong. Tasks completed included establishment of Internal Audit and Business Systems & Methods Departments, implementation of an integrated financial accounting package, policy & procedures/levels of authority manual, treasury reporting package. During this time (1993-1996), also was responsible for CFO role at UTSB which was growing substantially as the investments in the startup businesses of Maxis, Astro, KLCC, BSS and Powertek evolved in size and complexity.

    In 1996, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of UTSB. While UTSB is an investment holding company and operations are correspondingly limited, the combined COO/CFO role has involved joint venture negotiations, sale and investment negotiations, responsibility for operations of two private aircraft, operational responsibility for UTSB’s workforce of approximately 120 staff and dealing with Mr. Krishnan’s private affairs including racehorses.

Also responsible, as engagement partner, for a wide variety of engagements including large segments of Boral Ltd., Diners Club Limited, Johnson Matthey (Aust.) Ltd. and Armstrong Nylex Limited.

    Selected to be expatriate partner of the then KPMG member firm in Jakarta, Indonesia In that role, responsible for assisting the Indonesian partners in the management of the practice, supervising the technical quality of the accounting, taxation and audit advice provided by the office and advising foreign corporations on doing business in Indonesia. In addition to on-going professional responsibilities, was secretary of the Indonesia Australia Business Council and involved in several other business groups.

  • Jaclyn Tan Shu Ping is currently pursuing a Degree in Mass Communications: Marketing Communications
  • Jaclyn works part-time as a writer for a marketing / event company and has considerable marketing knowledge and experience related to the fashion industry.
  • Jaclyn has also been involved in marketing events for major brands including Nike, Adidas etc.
  • Her main interests include animals, travel, music and arts.
